At The Mainstay, we believe in keeping things simple, welcoming, and close to home. Founded by Paul Clark and Jordan Stewart - both long-time members of the Guilt & Company family in Gastown - The Mainstay is our way of bringing a fresh, community-rooted hospitality experience to the North Shore.

We’ve created A Market Bar: a space that celebrates the incredible local ingredients and producers surrounding us at the Lonsdale Quay. Our handcrafted cocktails are made with care, using the freshest goods from our neighbours in the market. Our taps feature a thoughtful selection of BC wines, brews, and ciders, each one chosen to represent the best of our region.

Lonsdale Quay has always been a cornerstone of the waterfront community, and we’re honoured to be part of its next chapter. Whether you’re local or visiting, we hope The Mainstay offers a place to pause, connect, and enjoy some of the finest flavours our province has to offer.
